We are looking to enhance our playground area with greenery and more trees for shade. Please review the list below of the materials we need for planting our trees & shrubs. So if anyone has a lead on one of the following items – please contact the school office (613-678-2030) – everything is MUCH appreciated:
Requirements - Trees & Shrubs
2 Wheel Barrels
Shovels + Pocket knife
4, 18 L plastic pails (to water plant material at planting time)
24 inch long plastic tile drainage pipe (tree protection at ground level) *Quantity TBA (based on # of trees)
Metal support stakes (support trees in ground # for establishment purposes) *Quantity TBA (based on # of trees)
Sledge hammer to hammer in metal support stakes
Old hose cut in 16 inch lengths (for tie down of trees)
