STORYTIME/MOVIE NIGHT A HUGE SUCCESS

Just thrilled about the turnout last night at the gym of PCPS! With the support of all who came, we raised over $700!, this is being matched by Let Them Be Kids; which means we actually raised $1400.!!! There were many happy faces during the story as read by Canadian acclaimed actress (and PCPS alumni) Teri Rata Loretto. The little ones I saw were quite attentive and so were many of the adults too.

Door prizes were handed out while the story time crowd waited for newcomers arriving to see the movie (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs). Thank you to VideoZone in Hawkesbury for donating the movie rental along with door prizes. The lights were turned out completely for 1 minute to commemorate Earth Hour (March 27). A big THANK YOU to everyone else for their donations: MacDonalds (Hawkesbury), La Collisee (Kirkland), Bob T’s Tack Shop, Solutions (Ottawa) and Mike Sutter & Beth MacLeod. Due to everyone’s help the evening was a great success.

Yes, what a wonderful, silly, popcorn soaked evening for the community's kids and parents, grandparents, friends, and teaching staff. A great way for our son to finish off his community hours for highschool! Brenda
